This private camp is located amongst stunning scenery along the iconic Mara River, where hippos laze in the shallows and elephants bring their calves for a playful dip. The forest around the camp is home to many beautiful birds from rare Trogons and Turacos to nesting Hornbills.
Governors’ Private Camp can be booked by one family or a small party, who want the exclusivity of a private safari camp.

There are just eight tents for up to 16 people, ensuring total peace and privacy. Each tent is beautifully appointed and positioned on wooden platforms with extended verandas. Personal attention is the hallmark of a stay here. A manager is on hand to see that all of your needs and questions are met. And you’ll have the benefit of their very best guides and trackers.

*In order to book this small and rustic camp, you must book at least six tents for a minimum of two nights.
