After successfully establishing La Valise Mexico City in 2014, Yves Naman set off on a search for a property in the colonial town of San Miguel. He discovered a hidden oasis on a pedestrian-only cobblestone street in the town’s center with none but Pedro Friedeberg’s artwork on the existing structure. La Valise San Miguel offers six suites extending from the courtyard to the rooftop, offering the most beautiful views of San Miguel and surrounding rugged mountain ranges.

Just a short distance away, the El Charco del Ingenio nature preserve and botanical garden await exploration,featuring an extensive collection of native cacti and succulents. This ecological reserve offers a chance to connect with the local flora and fauna through its network of trails and scenic overlooks.

The courtyard is the heart of the hotel, where time fades away among lemon trees, sunshine, and soothing sounds of water. With stunning architecture and unique design elements using local materials, there is an atmosphere at La Valise that’s simply intimate and inviting.
