A Landscape Hotel with modernist luxury cabins in the woods, alongside a full-service restaurant and spa
The first modern landscape hotel in the US, Piaule Catskill embodies an ethos of sustainable, hospitable design in an ecological retreat. Restrained Scandinavian-and Japanese-inspired design connects guests to nature with few distractions: simply adorned cabins feature a full wall of glass facing the forest, which opens to welcome in the sounds and smells of the surrounding landscape. It’s like observing a plein- air painting come to life.
The experience is rounded out by an otherworldly spa and highly regarded restaurant serving seasonal creations from executive chef Colin Stone.
