Hike on Retreat
- 2-mile loop on Montesino Ranch Hiking Trail
- Level: Moderate
- Views of the ranch & Hill Country landscape
- Great lookout point
Mount Baldy (aka Prayer Mountain)
- Hike to the highest point in Wimberley
- Just over 1,000 feet of elevation
- Good views of the area
- Easy hike, with stairs to the top (213 stairs total)
- Located on La Toya Circle
Blue Hole Regional Park
- 10 minute drive from retreat
- Free parking/admission
- Nature trails through a beautiful forested area
- Famous swimming hole with rope swings, named Blue Hole (Check website for closures)
- Great for trail running and picnics with many tables available
Jacobs Well
- Natural spring flowing from the bed of Cypress Creek
- 15-20 minute drive from retreat
- Great for picnics, walking, sightseeing
- Free parking/admission
- Closed for swimming October-April
