CHELSEA ADAMCHAK
Manager, Conference Services
Chelsea knew she had a passion for travel at a very young age. While her peers were sleeping in on Saturday mornings, Chelsea would wake up early to turn on the Travel Channel and see where Samantha Brown was off to next.
Quickly after graduating from Quinnipiac University with a degree in Public Relations, Chelsea decided to pack her bags and move to Australia and New Zealand for a year. There, she began her journey into hospitality, working at different cafes and bars while on her travels.
After returning home, she knew Australia wasn’t the end of traveling, but just the beginning. Chelsea then began working aboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s Pride of America in the bar department. She spent two 5-month contracts sailing around the Hawaiian Islands.
When she returned home to New Jersey, she knew she wanted to continue her career in the travel and hospitality industry. She began working as a Front desk agent for Sage Hospitality in Asbury Park, NJ. After two years working at the Front Desk and learning the ins and outs of hotel operations, she moved over to the Sales Department where she quickly knew she belonged. Chelsea started as a Sales and Events Coordinator, and quickly moved up to become the properties first Conference Service Manager and then became the Group Sales manager.
Chelsea is always ready for a new adventure, including taking on her role as Conference Service Manager for Collective Retreats.
