Chef Tomer Blechman
TheodoraChef Tomer Blechman is the chef and owner of Brooklyn’s acclaimed restaurants Miss Ada, Nili, Thea, and Theodora. He first made his mark in 2017 with Miss Ada, bringing a fresh, modern Israeli and Mediterranean sensibility to Fort Greene and quickly establishing the restaurant as a neighborhood fixture. In 2024, he opened Theodora, where a pioneering dry-aged fish program, natural wines, and inventive cocktails complement a menu rooted in fire, freshness, and technique. In his opening of Theodora and sister bakery Thea, Blechman has deepened his focus on seasonality, bold flavors, and wood-fired cooking. Across all his projects, Blechman is guided by a belief in food and hospitality as forms of connection, creating spaces that are as welcoming as they are distinctive.
