After the final notes of our live music fade, the magic on Governors Island continues. Every Friday evening from 8 to 9 PM, we transition from the rhythms of the stage to the wonders of the cosmos.
The evening’s special highlight is a guided stargazing experience led by Tom Larson, our Brooklyn-based guitarist and vocalist who easily switches gears from musician to our in-house telescope technician. Armed with a deep passion for astronomy and a high-powered telescope, Tom helps guests navigate the stunning night skies directly above the retreat.
Whether you’re looking to spot distant planets, trace familiar constellations, or simply marvel at the stars, Tom’s guided session offers the perfect, serene conclusion to your Friday night.
